After being left broken for about a week, Crytek have now fixed up their Easy Anti-Cheat for Hunt: Showdown to work on Steam Deck / Linux again.
Reported on here a few days ago, Hunt: Showdown would boot you out of games showing a warning that Easy Anti-Cheat authorization failed. Crytek did respond and noted in the article that they were working on it, which is good and great to see it fixed. You shouldn't need to do anything, as the issue was on their end, just make sure the game is up to date in your Steam Downloads.
It's a shame this sort of anti-cheat issue is still happening though, as we're only a few months away from two years since the Steam Deck released. At least they enabled the support though, plenty of developers still haven't enabled support for Steam Deck / Linux at all like Rust, Destiny 2, PUBG, Rainbow Six Siege and many others.
