Lockdown Protocol is a good looking high-score orientated action platformer that has now entered beta for Linux, and it's looking great.

The game has been through 20 different alpha versions, and the developer considers it featured enough for a beta tag. If you haven't checked it out yet, now is probably a good time.

You can see an updated video of how it looks now:

- Single player experience optimized for short play sessions in quest for highest scores.
- Brutal split-screen local multiplayer deathmatches.
- Built-in level editor which lets you easily create and share your own levels.
- Network multiplayer support for challenging your friends to a deathmatch over the Internet or LAN.
- Local and network multiplayer modes can be mixed so remote players can join a local split-screen deathmatch.
