Battle Worlds: Kronos Released On Steam

By - | Views: 7,209
Battle World: Kronos is a classic turn-based strategy game in the tradition of Battle Isle, Advance Wars and Panzer General. Have you ever wondered what games like that would look like today? Well, we did. As a result, we decided to develope Battle Worlds: Kronos.

I played a bit of the beta and it's pretty cool, has decent graphics and solid game-play well worth a purchase guys.

Honestly I would recommend buying it on Steam rather than direct, I had a lot of issues buying from them directly.

Features
  • Two Single Player Campaigns (~30 hours of gameplay)
  • Single Player Challenge Maps - Test your skills in different combat scenarios and keep track of your progress.
  • Live Multiplayer - Battle your friends live on the interent (cross-platform) or via hot-seat.
  • Asynchronous Multiplayer - Take all the time you need and consider your moves. Similar to "play-by-mail", your round is stored on our server and turned over to your opponent. The system allows you to continue the match anytime and anywhere you want (cross-platform).
  • Online Features - Leagues, chat and - in early 2014 - tournaments.
  • Strong AI - A clever AI that will challenge even experienced commanders.
  • Map Editor - A powerful editor to create your own maps and missions.
  • Includes "Trains" DLC - Get the "Trains" DLC in early 2014, featuring a new campaign (~10 hours), additional multiplayer maps and new units FOR FREE!

I like how it looks. Is the version available via their website DRM-Free? What kind of issues you suffered? Sorry for the interrogation :)

The issues where there payment system on their website sucks, you have two different checkouts one for USA one for everyone else.

Neither one let me order from the UK due to cookie and session issues with it thinking my IP wasn't from the UK and basically it took me a few hours to order.

Then i ordered with the wrong email and it took them a week to simply change my email for me, not the best service. Pitty as the game itself is more than worth it but that spoilt my first impression.

Sorry for the experience. Then I hope the will release the game in Shiny Loot as they did with the previous games. Except "The Book of Unwritten Tales" for Linux. Why???

Also they won't be giving out Steam keys for people who purchase from them directly to which I have called them out on:
