Beacon originally started off as a Ludum Dare 48 game in December on the theme of Discovery. The wonderful people who took part in Ludum Dare voted it second best out of the 242 entries! The Indie Games blog carried Beacon LD48 as a Freeware Game Pick in January. I’ve been polishing it since then, so now it is FASTER and STRONGER and BETTER and has things the original lacked, like “music”.
