The developers of the beautiful action platformer Rise & Shine [Steam] have posted on Steam to note that the Linux version is ready, it's just waiting on final approval from the publisher.

Here's what they said on Steam:
QuoteWe've got the Mac and Linux versions ready to launch. We are only waiting for Adult Swim Games to give them the green light to upload them into Steam.

So it could be today, tomorrow or we might be in for a longer wait if the publisher finds some issues.

About the game
Enter a world where every level is a single, continuous work of art. Each level is composed of hand drawn illustrations with multiple parallax scroll layers so every forward step is new; no tiling or repeated elements. This meticulous attention to detail allows each frame to flow seamlessly from one to the next, a quality you'll wish you had on your 20th respawn.

Will you be picking up a copy? It does look pretty good. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

nice! I didn't think we'd get it. It's a definite buy for me, although some of the twitchy bullet guiding puzzles look too difficult for casual scum like me.

PS: anyone know anything about Rain World? That's another Adult Swim title I'd love for us to get
