Blitzkrieg 3 is a pretty great looking World War II strategy game that is currently in Early Access on Steam. It seems it's coming soon to GOG and this new trailer even has a Linux icon.

GOG doesn't list Linux and neither does Steam just yet, but the brand new trailer having a Linux icon is a pretty good sign.

I have reached out to the developer in a few places to confirm it. I doubt the Linux icon was left in as an accident, as they have said numerous times a Linux version is planned.

About the game
Blitzkrieg 3 is the successor to the legendary WWII-RTS franchise, with the focus on tactical combat, historical accuracy and fast-paced action.

It comes with a singleplayer-campaign that highlights the most important battles in the greatest war humanity has seen, from perspectives of all 3 power blocs, challenges the tactical mind to set up defenses for assault mode, or encourages coordination in the skirmish mode battles for up to 6 players fighting for glory.

Finally someone who understands the difference between PC and Windows. PC /=/ Windows.

Game looks pretty interesting. I might check it out once it leaves early access.

Quoting: GuestLooks like the game currently has a lot of problems. If they fix those, and we get a good Linux version, then cool, might look into it.
Early access destroys games! They often get a bad reputation before even being finished. I really don't get why you would throw early access crap on the market. It's a pitty, the game looks awesome. They should fix there balancing asap!
