The final beta for the MMO Albion Online is now available, it has come with a brand new trailer to show it off a bit.

It shows off various aspects of the MMO and it's looking pretty impressive.

My personal access doesn't start until tomorrow due to the level of support I paid for it, where as the highest paid members started today.

I am looking forward to seeing the new expanded world they implemented, but I won't spend too long in this final beta since it will be wiped again before the full release in a month or two.

I will likely make a GOL guild in it once it releases in proper, feel free to sound off in the comments if you want to join it!

I am still surprised about the lack of graphical options for the game like AA. I really hope they add that in soon. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I'm interested in this game but don't want to pay to play during Beta. I'll try it out when it launches though!

I realy would like to buy / play this however the premium thing realy disturbes me:

I hate Freemium games with pay to play content + free content.

Worst of all, even the biggest founders pack for 100$ ONLY gives you premium access for 90 days ...

I like the model in TESO, where even non premium players can access almost all areas and all quests....

I realy realy do like this game, but I dont wanna be fraud on...

All content can be accessed by everyone, the premium mode only gives a boost to certain things: https://albiononline.com/en/shop/premium

Premium can be purchased with in-game money too.

Running an online game is expensive, they have to keep themselves afloat somehow, or else it would be a monthly fee anyway. At least this way you pay once and have access forever.

Im just veeeery worried this game will be pay to win, or pay to complete stuff faster, I dont know if you should call that pay to win also.
Jugding from my past experience, and Iv probably played most of the mmo's out there, this looks like a money sink.
But on the other hand I would also call games like guild wars 2 pay to win, if you are familiar with there system.

But I am really excited for this title, I just dont hope they go down the road I fear :(. Iv also heard its very grindy and well you can buy your way past those grindy moment.

And sadly mmo's tends to die very fast after they go live, if they dont get a good start.
I do like the artstyle, the featuers the game is promesing and I really enjoy pvp.

If it seems to do well, and arent to mutch payment to get past grinds and stuff, I will probably get this one.
And btw Im not criting anyone for buying the game or defending it.
I want this game to be good, a new nativ mmo title on my favorit OS! Plz dont be pay to win :*(

Path of Exile is a good example of how to do free to play right. I'll probably never try this as I don't trust the developer's business model.

The german stream only TV channel Rocketbeans.tv are featuring the game right now with one of the developers on the show for the next 90 minutes on and off.
