Shadow Warrior 2 is certainly looking great, and this new video has nailed the need for me to own it when it's released. They also probably have the best website address "http://whowantssome.wang/"

Looks like it has everything I need in an action game. Great visuals, some comedy, a nice assortment of weapons and abilities and a Linux version.

About the game
Shadow Warrior 2 is the stunning evolution of Flying Wild Hog’s offbeat first-person shooter following the further misadventures of former corporate shogun Lo Wang. Now surviving as a reclusive mercenary on the edge of a corrupted world, the formidable warrior must again wield a devastating combination of guns, blades, magic and wit to strike down the demonic legions overwhelming the world. Battle alongside allies online in four-player co-op or go it alone in spectacular procedurally-generated landscapes to complete daring missions and collect powerful new weapons, armour, and arcane relics of legend. Nice! The first game was far better than I had expected and this looks like a *Must Have!* title as well. I certainly hope this also means that "Hard Reset Redux" will show up on Linux as well.

"Hard Reset Redux, is now in the works. It's being built on the latest version of the Roadhog engine (which is also being used for Shadow Warrior 2) and will include all of the content in the original Hard Reset as well as the Exile expansion. The overhauled edition will feature improved graphics, new enemy variants, and changes to pacing and balance"

The GOG.com page for Shadow Warrior 2 still lists it as being Windows only, but given it is mostly a provisional page made for later expansion, I am not sure if that means much.

I would certainly be willing to give Hard Reset Redux a try too if it comes to Linux.

Quoting: cRaZy-bisCuiTA bit too blooy for me. Otherwise (low violenve version) I'd buy it.

Words never before uttered by a Shadow Warrior player.

I hope it will have interesting story too. It will be harder for them without Hoji.

Blood, violence & humour are the three key elements to the game. Without them it would be nothing.

From the fragments I've seen the replacement seems a bit annoying, but I trust that they'll be able to make the interactions humourous and the premise seems to allow for fun character development.

Quoting: liamdaweHonestly I don't expect any new games to come with Vulkan until next year.
If UE4 receive full support to Vulkan, I don't think it takes so long.
From feral or indie engines probably not this year (except TTP), but indeed UE4 games will soon support vulkan, there is even a game than currently support it (The isle), or thats what they claim, than they are using vulkan in the last update, because UE4 enabled it.

The first game surprised me, it was much better than I expected. This seems to build upon that foundation. It gotta be good.

Four player co-op, eh? Superb news. Can't wait to play this one.

I am really looking forward to SW2. I loved the reboot. I am a tad worried about the DRM free Linux version as on GOG it lists Windows only but hopefully that will change.
