About Green Cities
QuoteCities: Skylines - Green Cities is adding new ways for players to build earth-friendly towns. The expansion adds 350 new assets to the core game, adding a massive selection of new visual options, complete with eco-friendly buildings, organic shops, electric vehicles, and new services designed to make pollution a quaint notion of the past.

Players can create more diversified cities, or go completely green as the urban population grows.

For the first time, city specializations can level-up. They haven't said exactly what that will do, but it sounds interesting. It will also include 3 new scenarios, 4 new policy options, and a new Monument.

Sounds good, can't wait to try it! No release date has been given yet. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I gotta start playing this game soon. it's in my catalogue, but man, these kind of games demand more time than I usually have these days!

Expect 40-50 hours to fill a 9-cell map.

This is one of the few games which was TOO addictive, and I had to force myself to stop playing it.

That Green Cities stuff looks mighty fine though... maybe just one more city... Nooooooooo!

Nice. Every time I think they have probably added everything there was to add, they come up with another idea!

"Eco-friendly", huh? So will it feature "green" industries that bleed your tax coffers dry with nothing to show for it before suddenly declaring bankruptcy?

Thing about the old fossil fuel model is, it's a set of resources. Basically it's about mining. Thing about the new green model is, it's a set of technologies. It's unwise to bet on a resource against a technology. The resource just gets scarcer and more expensive; the technology just gets more advanced.

Plus, no animal (but [some] men) shits where it sits/lives :)
