As if we didn't have enough to look forward to a wild Civilization: Beyond Earth game-play trailer appears! It's super effective!

Still no word on when the release is likely to be for Linux, but it is confirmed to be on its way to us. Aspyr Media our new porting love will be handling the port, so when it comes out we should at-least see a good porting effort.

Considering Aspyr Media's work on Borderlands 2 and The Pre-sequel it's not hard to understand why the new Civ won't see a same-day Linux release!

It really does look quite beautiful don't you think? Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

And as always. Only buy it when it's released for Linux :)

Well, that was super effective. I hate it when advertising works on me. I'll be certainly waiting for linux release so that Aspyr get some of my money, but this is probably going to be a day one purchase for me (damn you firaxis).

Hopefully the linux version gets steam workshop support this time around. Still sad civ v doesn't have it on linux.

But, will probably purchase when the linux version comes anyway. Im a sucker for civ games.

The game looks great. Although I'm a little disappointed they went with Brazil as one of the "sponsors" rather than some sort of Latin American union.
