Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink is an adventure game in a steampunk world. The games visuals look fantastic and the story sounds great too!

Originally released in August of last year it's quite a new game and it's from the same developers who gave us Abyss: The Wraiths of Eden and Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart. Looks like Artifex Mundi create some really beautiful adventure games.

About
Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink is an adventure game in the steampunk genre. It is a detective drama featuring action elements such espionage, monster battles and even hang-gliding!
A continuing string of strange earthquakes are causing the world’s cities to crumble to ruin. Dr. Ambrose Ink—one of the foremost minds of the technological revolution—hopes to expose the underlying cause of this supernatural phenomenon.
His research leads him to Hochwald, a town nestled high in the mountains near the mysterious Barber family castle. Yet, shortly after arriving at the estate, Dr. Ink disappears.
It’s up to Dr. Ink’s longtime friend and confidante, Agent Evangeline Glass to save Dr. Ink and reveal what is causing the earthquakes. With only a mechanical raven to guide her, she must storm the well-secured castle and face the General Engineer of Gottland.
Agent Glass soon realizes that humans are not the only threat during these strange, revolutionary times…

It's already the third game by Artifex Mundi released on Steam. They have quite a few more games in their backpack: http://www.artifexmundi.com/page/games/ - interestingly, though, they don't list Linux support even on those that were put on Steam for Linux. So there's no telling if their other games work on Linux or not. Maybe they're porting to Linux as they're releasing on Steam? Though I'd guess most of their games work on the same engine, so maybe the others are also Linux-ready?

Anyhow, I played Nightmares from the Deep and quite enjoyed it. It's good to see more of their games are coming to Steam/Linux.

Nightmares from the Deep was a lot of fun, but it had a bad translation error at one point. The mini game said that I have to find the onion but they actually meant garlic. Took me 20 minutes to figure that out :D

Anyways I'll probably buy this one :)

Yeah, there were a few mistranslations, but overall the script was pretty decent.

I've enjoyed both the previous games they've ported to Linux and I'm looking forward to this one. The only problem I've seen in their games is the dodgy lip sync.
