Best get your running shoes, you're going to need them to compete in DASH: Danger Action Speed Heroes. This fast-paced competitive platformer from Baby Duka and Schubell IT will also let your creative juices flow since a lot of the levels are made by people like you and me.

They've announced it's finally going to enter Early Access in June and they have a new trailer to show off:

I've been testing it on and off with each new release, with it constantly impressing me. The only thing I'm not sold on is the font, which even on the Clean shader setting isn't too clear. Aside from that, it's brilliant. The level editor is super-simple to use, even I've had a go at it.

Last I checked, they were over 220 levels which is pretty insane and no doubt many more will be made when it's available for everyone. I also like the fact that DASH has different characters, each with their own set of strengths and weaknesses with timings on levels split between them. Perhaps if you're not good with one, you might be a champion with another? All I know is that I'm terrible with all of them.

You can wishlist/follow it on Steam.

Hey! About the blurriness - you can turn it off in the Options panel! It's a special "shader" and I think some people like it playing on a TV screen or so, but for me playing on a computer screen its the first thing I turn off :) Just put the shader to sharp! The sharp setting should probably be default tbh, I'll suggest that to BabyDuka!

EDIT: response from BD:
Quote"the clean shader is default in the current build but perhaps he has launched an older build where the game then saved the default setting (which then was "smudge") :/"

Yeah I created the 225th level myself, and struck som awesome World Records yesterday, I think competition will stiffen when more people join tho :)

Awesome game!

I did check before publishing, it was set to Clean. It's more about the text though, to be clearer on that which even on Clean still looks overly pixelated. Have made the article clearer.

Oh I see! We'll I'll put that up as a bug in the discord, maybe there is something that can be done, I'll tag you and if you have the time you are welcome to provide a screen shot, to make sure we are seeing the same thing. I do remember thinking it was too blurry but I guess I didnt think much about it since making sure I have the clean preset on.
