A quick release announcement here for one I missed, you can now destroy the land of the Fairies as the Dungeons 3 - Once Upon A Time DLC is now available.

It release on both GOG and Steam, so it's good to see GOG keep up some timely releases so no one is missing out.

DLC Features:

  • A new, fully voiced campaign across 3 challenging maps
  • 3 new Evil hubs
  • New Boss enemy: The Good Fairy
  • New Wall Tile Set for the Dungeon

The comedy is well placed in the DLC, with the previous cast returning. The narrator is especially funny, with his line about "DLC-Buying-Evil".

It would be nice to see a more substantial expansion in future, since they had a really good foundation and I would personally prefer a bigger set of extras over multiple small additions. It doesn't add a great deal, but if you enjoyed the initial campaign in Dungeons 3, it's probably a worthwhile purchase.

If you're in the mood for some more evil deeds, pick it up at GOG and Steam. If you do pick it up, find it in the Extras menu, that confused me at first.

GOG links are affiliate links.

I wonder if DreamWorks will sue ?
That Fairy looks awfully familiar. :P

My girlfriend is playing a lot the Dungeons 2 (using my Steam library unfortunately... library sharing is not so cool when you get to know the limitations). Is quite remarkable that this game has voice translation for many laguages, something quite uncommon.

I'll probably buy D2 + D3 + DLCs for her on the upcoming sale I think (for love of course, not because I want to play when she does ¬¬).

Well, I totally loved Dungeons 2 and I do love Dungeons 3, even though I did not manage to finish it by now. I'll get the full priced DLC anyway to support the developers and I'll play it after I finished the base game. Generally I'm really no fan of DLCs at all - but the good old addons seem to be gone for good when broadband made it's way, and DLCs became a viable business model. :'/

@x_wing I'm sure they're better ways to make some love! :P

Edit:

Quoting: x_winglibrary sharing is not so cool when you get to know the limitations.

Our of curiosity: What are the limitations you mean? If she or you play offline it should be okay. Except for statistics not being bumped and online games.

For the same reason: Which is the language they made voice acting for? Is it a good translation?

Steam library sharing means that you share the whole library as one thing. This means that if someone plays some game from the shared library, then Steam considers that the whole library is being used which means that another can't play any other game from the library while the former user is playing. In my case, if my girlfriend is playing D2 and I try to play another game from my lib, she'll be kicked out from his game (and she will get mad with me and... well, girlfriends are girlfriends). Fortunately I'm able to play games that are DRM free from my lib (i.e. go to the install dir and run the game without the steamappid.txt) but somethimes I want to play online and I simple can't until she stops playing :/

In the Steam game page it says that has voice & text translation for: english, spanish, french, russian, german & italian.

My girlfriend plays with spanish languague (voice and text are completely translated). Out of being the iberic spanish (we're from south america), it's a good translation and the voice actor does a good job in order to give the funny context sound that each phrase needs.

Just bought the DLC on GOG using the affiliate link. I just love Dungeons and I like them putting up a DRM free version ;)
