Door Kickers is the excellent squad based strategy and tactics game from KillHouse Games we have shown you a few times here. They have released a big update to push the game into beta and it's a good one.

For those of you who get bored by the masses of puzzle and platform games that we have I would easily recommend checking out Door Kickers for a change of pace.

If you remember I did a video showcasing my favourite modification for Door Kickers where I stormed The Simpsons house in it. The game has quite a few fun mods like this.

Major changes
Your squad now gain experience in a different way and they individually level up which is simpler than the old system and I prefer it. They can gain XP from each mission and from doing challenges in the new challenge system.

Overall improvements to the graphics.

The enemy have better AI, so be careful you might not be as lucky as you were before.

Waypoints for troopers are now much more useful and you can tell them to interact with objects better.

Many new maps, firearms and armour types to have a play with which makes the game pretty damn big now.

There's a lot more to it, so go see the full post on it here.

You can buy the game DRM free directly or on Steam. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.
