Epic Space: Online MMO Released For Linux In Early Access

Epic Space: Online is a 2D space MMO I have been following for quite some time, it is now available on Linux in Steam's Early Access section.

It seems the 64bit version is still rather buggy right now, with no ability to even login. Clicking the My Account button also makes it crash, so as always with Early Access you mileage will vary.

So, sadly you will have to wait for it to stabilise a bit before we can give you our thoughts on it. It's good to see another MMO on Linux though.

About
Epic Space Online hosts players in a single universe with absolutely no borders or boundaries. You can fly in any direction in a procedurally generated universe.

Epic Space Online is all about Sectors. The more sectors you control, the more revenue you generate. Trade, Pirate, Conquer, or Negotiate to your objectives in this Infinite Universe.

It seems they plan to drop the price after a while of being in early access to "add more value to the game", I'm not sure how a higher price adds more value to the experience, but that is their word on it.

Check it out on Steam. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.
