Fancy Skulls Randomly Generated FPS "Sound and Vision" Update 0.5

New enemies, visual improvements, better performance, balancing, lots of small tweaks landed in the Fancy Skulls .5 alpha release, I've tested it and it's pretty good fun actually.

I will do a video for it at some-point soon to show it off some more, but if you are a fan of FPS games and like a bit of weird then go grab it now.

- redone HUD using NGUI plugin which make it a bit faster and easier to make it prettier

- x hits in a row gives y mods changed so shooting mines or enemy projectiles will not reset it

- procedural shattering of enemies, which means they will shatter differently every time
- few floor textures
- rudimentary controller support - you can bind keys and use it in-game, no menu navigation. Default alternative controls are set for 360 controller, you might need to reset keybindings to default to get it working

bugfixes
- possible fix for beam at the end of the level not working
- fixed performance issues after opening bonus chest at the start of the level
- pathfinding issues in certain rooms
- fixes for ray gun mods
- some minor fixes


About
Fancy Skulls is a First Person Shooter with random generation, permadeath and distinct art style where you defeat enemies using your skill, precision and caution. You play as an immortal creature who tries to escape capture from a collection where said creature is the main treasure.

The graphics have actually been improved since the .3 trailer FYI. Also those red guys with the cone heads are really fast, been killed by them a good few times, sneaky buggers. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.
