Most racing games have you in the latest, greatest and most shiny vehicles possible, not so with Fast Dust. Instead, you will be able to choose from 10 unique vehicles that are all a bit beaten up.

You will race across 70 possible tracks with varying terrain. It will have weather effects, day and night races along with multiple different game modes. It has a single-player campaign, with upgrades you can unlock for your vehicles as you progress. It will also support online multiplayer for up to 7 people.

I asked the developer about Linux support, to which they replied with:

Yes, of course there will be Linux support. Probably within two or three months.

I still want something similar to the Powerslide racer from 20 year ago. That game had an awesome feel to it. This game looks somewhat in that direction although the tracks aren't quite as crazy.

Looks quite cheap if you ask me. No suspension animations, handling seems super arcade also and not in a good way like say Flatout 2. Looks more like some mobile game. Somehow i smell "MadOut" in this. Which is fine i guess if the price is fair

It does look basic, right? I'm still holding out for Drag, but I haven't heard anything for ages - it's been over 6 months when it was "coming soon". Did I miss a release announcement?

Music to my ears. Let's hope this kind of attitude is a new normal amongst the game developers!

Shame shame shame on those who live in the dark ages of the past and only develop for Microshaft Spydows

Hm, I like the beaten look of the cars, definitely a change from the usual fancy cars we usually see,
But the rest of the game looks kinda empty, unfinished. No idea what engine it uses, but it has that very old "Unity" look, with plain textures and minimal environment details.
(yes, I'm aware how good Unity can look in good developers hands)

Looks like fun to me... I'm pulling the trigger when the Linux version lands!

The scenery not matching the cars really triggers me...
