Feral Interactive are asking you to send the game port suggestions again

By - | Views: 52,978

Feral Interactive, one of the only companies to be porting AAA games to Linux have put out a request for more port suggestions.

THE REQUESTINATOR is whirring noisily into action! Feed your game requests for macOS, Linux or mobile into this marvellous machine and they will be processed with unnecessarily complex computational algorithms.

You can see the posts on Twitter and Facebook.

While it's a bit of fun, it will be interesting to see how many of the requests Feral actually end up porting. They're already working on Life is Strange 2, Total War: THREE KINGDOMS and Total War: WARHAMMER II is due out this month. So they're still bringing us some good games, but I do hope they seriously have more coming up.

If they really want a list, being realistic here my top three right now to keep me happy would be:

  1. HITMAN 2
  2. Just Cause 4
  3. Shadow of the Tomb Raider

I think those would be possible, since they already have some sort of contacts with each studio and publisher and have done previous titles. In the case of Just Cause 4, it's the same developer that did Mad Max which Feral Ported to Linux. Those are my realistic titles, however, if they want to push they boat out a little how about:

  1. Dying Light 2
  2. Dead by Daylight
  3. Divinity: Original Sin 2

What would be your top 5, that you would want Feral to port to Linux?

Would love to see Prey and Dishonored 2 / Death of the Outsider and for upcoming games RAGE 2.

Who am I kidding though, it's Bethesda / Zenimax, and I'm not even sure if they're aware that Linux exists :(.

Have they already ported all previous suggested games? If so, I'd like something that don't work with Wine and DXVK, like Resident Evil 7 or upcoming RE2 remake.

Of course not, hundreds have been proposed. I guess it makes sense for them to see if the demand has changed, with recent... developments, though.

Well they have a point...

If the Phoenix Point devs are not capable of porting themselves give it to the experts...
