Feral Interactive are teasing a new Linux port again

By - | Views: 71,392
Were you alarmed that Feral Interactive didn't have any new Linux ports listed on their radar? Worry no more, as a new UFO (Unidentified Feral Object) has appeared over Linux.

Here's the new teaser from the radar:

For those that can't read it, it says "FORT DU KREMLIN-BICETRE". The picture is of Maggie Simpson from the opening credits of, you guessed it, The Simpsons.

Just be aware this doesn't mean it's coming soon, it could be many months away, but it's still exciting to think about!

Does anyone have a clue? Go on, open up in the comments. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Have we ever accurately deciphered one of Feral's teasers?

There are quite a number of possibles out there. Just looking at the current partners, there are probably at least 50 games it could be.

I'd like to see "Rise of the Tomb Raider" come to Linux. (Feral brought "Tomb Raider" to Linux, already.)

Then there's "Just Cause 3" (Feral brought us "Mad Max" to Linux.)

Maybe one of the existing Feral Mac Ports e.g. "Mafia 2" (I'd like), "Thief" (I'd like), "Borderlands" (I'd like).

Quoting: jordicomaFORT DU KREMLIN is French? Strong/fort of kremlin?
Yes, the Kremlin-Bicêtre is a Paris suburb. Just in case, I'll state here that Fort stands here for stronghold, if you prefer (fortification).

Mmm, the explanation with the barcode and the Paris mission would make sense for Hitman. I really hope it's Skyrim, though :D

On the other hand, @jith_feral said it was coming "quite soon". I actually don't know what that adds to the conversation ^^" It's puzzling rather than anything else.
Whatever it is, I'll probably enjoy it, though :D

The new Hitman game looks quite good... if it comes out with AMD support I'll buy it in a heartbeat.

Kremlin Bicêtre is a Paris suburb.

I don't think it is Assassin's Creed Unity, as it is protected by Udon't Play.

However Hitman would be relevant I think.

I'm taking a good guess it's HITMAN, considering the SteamDB activity.
