Feral Interactive are teasing another Linux port

By - | Views: 48,845

Another one?! Yes! Feral Interactive have begun teasing us once again with a new upcoming Linux and Mac port.

On their famous port radar, one they jokingly claim has a mind of it's own, is this new clue for Linux and Mac:

"Flushing Point"

For those interested, here's a higher resolution picture:

They only just recently released Total War: WARHAMMER II, with Life is Strange 2 and Total War: THREE KINGDOMS and Shadow of the Tomb Raider all confirmed to be coming.

I know some of you groan about the teasers, but they're a good bit of fun in my book. They've seemingly started announcing titles quite a bit sooner than before too which is great.

What do you think it will be this time? So many announcements lately, this is fantastic to see. If it's HITMAN 2 or something more open-world, I'm completely sold. Shutup and take my money.

Ps. Apologies to any copyright holders on the image, couldn't find where it's from. Do get in touch if you're unhappy with us including it here…

Honestly, I'm not seeing Total War in this one. Which is probably the biggest surprise.

The art deco look of the art suggests something Bioshock related, but I'm not sure Bioshock 2 Remastered would bring much in the way of profits for Feral so I'd say that's a long shot. Longer than Skyrim, which it obviously is.

Quoting: chui2chI wish I was better at this, but I hope its Shadow of War!!

So do I mate, so do I. The first one was awesome, and we miss out on all the microtransactional buffonery by getting it now instead of alongside Windows! It has Very Positive reviews on Steam most recently. Oh, and it would probably come with Vulkan. So much yes.

Apart from that, I could see Dirt 4 or Dirt Rally, the new Alien game, or Hitman 2, given Feral's previous collaborations. I'd be fine with any of them coming to us, to be honest :)

If I had to wish upon a star for a game out of the blue for Feral to have a crack at, it would be Divinity: OS2 Divine Edition. It seems to have sold pretty well and has all round great reviews, but yeah, probably wishful thinking.

Divinity OS 2 is getting a Mac port from a different company so that's not it. Also they said there will be no Linux version.

All Total War games in the pipe have been announced already, no?

This will be something unexpected, for a change! :D

Don't see any source where they said explicitly that there will be no Linux release. Is there?

I saw something like that on Reddit , after Apple events.

My recollection was they said they were concentrating on Windows and would look at other platforms after release. Consoles have come, Mac is coming, but haven't heard anything from them re Linux explicitly since then (which was admittedly a while ago now), unless something slipped my notice.

I wonder if Liam has heard anything from Larian of late...?
