Feral Interactive are teasing ANOTHER new Linux port

Posted by , | Views: 24,278

Feral Interactive are at it once again, go dust off those thinking caps as they're bringing another game to Linux.

From the famous Feral Radar, here's their latest Linux port teaser:

As a reminder, Feral Interactive have only recently release Life is Strange: Before the Storm and Total War: Warhammer II is confirmed to be coming this autumn. On top of that, last month they also put up another teaser that we're still guessing.

I wouldn't be surprised if they do try to get more ports out earlier now, especially with Steam Play which would eat into their Linux port sales. Anyway…looks like 2018 really will be another great year for Linux gaming!

The amount of Linux games Feral has ported now is kind of ridiculous: XCOM, XCOM 2, Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Mad Max, Shadow of Mordor, HITMAN, F1 2017, Life is Strange, Life is Strange: Before the Storm, Dawn of War II, Dawn of War III, DiRT Rally and the list goes on.

What do you think "AURORA" will be?

Seagulls and Aurora. Isn't there an Aurora in Subnautica? And seagulls would make sense...?

It has issues under Steamplay too. Fingers crossed for this.

finaldestI am going with Grand Theft Auto

I managed to link this to the following album and the track "I ran" has been referenced to GTA Vice city.

Aurora Borealis - The Greatest Hits
A Flock of Seagulls - I Ran

A game made by Rockstar North? That's ticking a few boxes!

Hope that one of the clues answers is Shadow of the Tomb Raider, I really want to play the last part of the saga.

I have no idea which could be the game out of the my SotTR wish (but a Just Cause 3 wouldn't be another bad wish, doesn't it?). But anyway, whatever comes out from Feral I'll end up buying it so... be prepared my dear wallet.

Comandante ÑoñardoWith Proton doing a good job for the gaming on Linux, Feral really should STOP with these silly things and just announce the games.

As far as I know they announce as soon as they are allowed to. You know what an NDA is?

On-topic: F1 2018, Life is Strange2, Hitman 2 or Shadow of the Tomb Raider would fit with Feral's history, though no clue from the hints.

Then don't announce anything until the NDA expires.

I agree with Comandante Ñoñardo, at this point in time, it seems a bit silly to start these guessing games.

I don't know how that clue leads to Dragon Quest XI, but could this please be Dragon Quest XI? Please? Pretty please? I would also accept HITMAN 2.
