Feral Interactive are teasing yet another Linux game

By - | Views: 42,425
Not to be confused with Feral's teaser from April, this one only has a Linux icon and it's apparently due 'Very Soon'.

On their teaser radar is the above image with the wording "Spice Clove", which as usual I have no idea. I do love a good guessing game though and Feral do usually port good games.

The fact that it only has a Linux icon, could mean it's a game they have previously ported to Mac or something entirely new.

Begin guessing, what do you think it is? Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

If it's Shadow Warrior 2 (or any FPS/Action/Open World title) then I'll let loose with a heartfelt, barbaric yalp, "Yayyyyyy! Feral, I love you!" If it's YARTS (Yet Another RTS) then --- well, okay, look: I'll still love you Feral, but you're sleeping on the couch for the foreseeable future.

What Game do takes place year 799AD?
Shogun is 1500 something right?
It's maybe a clue from Feral or it just to make us lost and have more to look after.
Feral

That could be Total War Rome II.

Quoting: EhvisI'm just waiting for someone to provide an interesting take on Spice Clove. No idea how to match that to Shogun 2.
The CLOVE was the first English trading ship to arrive in Japan in 1613. It's main goal was establishing trade relationships (especially spices) in the far east.
Other countries like the Portuguese and the Dutch had landed a few years earlier but since Creative Assembly is a British developer, choosing the English landing slightly after the end of the timeline of Shogun 2 (1545-1600 if I remember correctly), could be another hint.

That sounds pretty convincing to me.
