Welp, my good ol' GTX760 apparently won't cut the mustard then.

Sad. Low energy.

FX-8350 minimum? Oh dear.

Crossing my fingers that Ryzen lives up to the hype. It's really sad to see that AMD CPUs are no longer "good enough" for gaming.

This game will be interesting on my system.

I run latest Mesa git, have an AMD 380X GPU. 16GB RAM. So no probs there.

But my CPU is Intel Pentium G4560 (Kaby Lake), so I guess the equivelent-ish of a Core i3.

Cool, I should be pretty set, i5-4670k & gtx1070; look forward to cranking this up :)

That said, Im keeping an eye on Ryzen if it proves to be competative and cost effective I may be tempted for an upgrade!

I really love that Feral is supporting AMD with Mesa 13.0.3+!

I'm in the same boat as you. Th 8350 was pretty sweet a few years ago but i'm really hoping Ryzen is all that it's promised to be, and soon.

yeah, it was quite decent, sadly under linux its a bit worse because opengl isnt really threaded enough and singlecore perf sucks on those CPUs.. under windows this CPU can still deliver somewhat with DX11.
Vulkan will change things a bit.. few vulkan titles that are available atm show that this CPU can still deliver.

patiently waiting for ryzen also :)

Feral Interactive is able to do things, Aspyr isn't able to do. Or not wanting to do.

From me ah "Hooaah!" to Feral Interactive!

Sad for me, that I´am with my CPU (AMD FX-6100) underpowered, too. :'(
