Fields of War Online Mech-Unit Combat Officially Launched

By - | Views: 5,830
Fields of War is a massive multiplayer third-person-shooter focused on large scale battles, territory control, skill and most importantly team play.
The players are divided into two factions, North and South, coming from different climates and landscapes, and fight over control of the entire land.

I did a little look on it back in September and gave some feedback to the developers.

Sadly though it seems not much changed between the old version and the final release it's still confusing and hard to spot yourself on the minimap and you are thrown in without so much as a help box popping up, it's pretty much a figure it out for yourself game, something which I know will put off a lot of people who will drop in, not know what to do and drop out again.

If you are a die-hard mech game fan it will probably be right up your alley.

I would like to say thank you to these people for their fine product. I'll take eight!

Seriously though, I love the idea of painting these things more than actually playing the game.

I am always logging on to this, but its always just bots. There is never anyone (human) playing at all. We need more people to log in!

It'll probably be that way till it's greenlit. Then with a sale or a bundle it'll have a decent amount of players.
