By - | Views: 11,809
Forced is a one- to four-player co-op arcade action RPG with puzzle and tactical elements. You are cast as slaves in the toughest fantasy gladiator school of them all, condemned to fight to the death, all the while attempting to win your freedom.

It was in Steam's Early Access and now it's reached maturity and graduated to be a full Steam release.

Features
  • 1-4 player campaign, carefully balanced for the number of players
  • Local and online co-op, it's easy to plugin controllers and play on one computer
  • A challenging Gladiator campaign with monstrous foes and tricky puzzles
  • Four Unique Character Classes, with very distinctive playstyles
  • Skill focused: all enemy attacks can be evaded, it's your job to figure out how!
  • The Spirit Mentor, an extra party member which players must control together to gain an upper hand over the enemy
  • Survival Arena Mode (more modes coming)
  • Mark Combat System. Apply marks to enemies with your basic attacks, to set them up for devastating special attacks from you or your allies.

I gave it a small test while in Early Access on Steam, it seemed interesting but a bit bland, nothing really hooked me in, but it has been some time since I last tested it! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

It looks like this game is Trine 2 without the side scrolling and puzzles, but with combat. It looks interesting and I will probably buy and test it out.

This game uses unity3d engine which unfortunately doesn't support vsync in composited enviroment, like ubuntu. So it suffers from screan tearing.

pretty cool. Is like the Diablo 3 port on consoles.

This was definitely made for the concept of big picture and will probably be popular on the steambox.

Is nice to have more living room type games on the pc.

Another is the Zelda like "Cornerstone: The Song of Tyrim"

Which has less than 24h left on kickstarter.

I put about 5 hours with a friend into this game. It is so much fun. So worth the $15.
