Full Throttle Remastered [GOG, Official Site] now has a release date, which is the 18th of April. Also, it seems GOG have snagged an exclusive deal on the pre-orders for it.

Nearly 22 years after the original Full Throttle release, the Remastered version from Double Fine Productions is almost here.

It will launch with hand-drawn and 3D high-resolution artwork, with remastered audio and music.

Will you be picking up a copy? It's one game I completely missed from my youth, so I will certainly be giving the new edition a go! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

As with most remasters... I'll buy it by the time hits a big sale.

Was it actually confirmed to have a Linux version on day one?

I will be needing this though. I never played the original of this one.

I thiiiiink the Linux version will not be day 1, so pre-orders might possibly still just count as Windows sales. Need more info for clarity.

Man this brings back some memories, I played this on an Apple LC520- 25MHz processor & somewhere between 5 & 10 MB RAM.

Hmm, does GOG have any way to rate something a <platform>-sale?

I'll buy it as soon as the Linux version out. But no Linux port, no buy.

Although I'm a big adventure fan, I missed this one back then, so it will actually be the first time I buy it. :)

If it's like Grim Fandango and Day of the Tentacle, the linux version will come out later, there should also probably be a discount at that time. If it's a sure day 1 Linux I would pre order but would not bet on it.
