Trailblazers [Official Site], the arcade racer where you paint the track to go faster has another gameplay trailer and it looks so damn good.

It's quite interesting to see this painting mechanic in a racing game, not something I can say I remember seeing before. Since it will have cross-platform multiplayer across Linux, Mac, Windows and consoles it could be a lot of fun.

While the video gives us quite a simple look into the mechanics, it does bring up a few interesting ideas for gameplay styles. It sounds like a racing game that might involve some interesting strategies for winning.

It's due for release on May 8th according to Steam.
