And since I've never used them before, can you clarify if these are Steam Keys and counted as Linux sales?

Hmmm, just checked and some of these actually have DRM-free downloads too. Is that via Games Republic, or is a Humble/GoG tie-in?

Hello @scaine.
1) 45 games available today on sale on Linux are available as a Steam keys,
2) 8 games that are available as a DRM-free download. We always inform about type of DRM - take a look on product page:

1) I believe he means does the sale count as a 'Linux sale' in Steam's statistics. Some 3rd party key vendors buy the keys en masse as a Windows sale, even if you only play it on Linux.

2) So does that mean you download directly from the site?

Sorry for the confused comment - you're exactly correct, that's exactly what I was getting at, HadBabits. Do these sales count as "Linux" and where is the DRM-free download from. Thanks!

I don't know about the nature of their Steam keys, but I can confirm the DRM-free games can be downloaded directly from your account page in GamesRepublic.

The DRM field seems to just state where they product is available from (steam or directly). This should be relabelled. It would be awesome to also have accurate info about the inclusion of DRM as many of the games currently labelled as "Steam" are DRM free.

They have some nice offerings, bought a few games. Hopefully they are counted as Linux under Steam statistics.
Unfortunately the discount code does not work for all games (e.g. Cities Skylines: After Dark).

Worked fine here, After Dark as well.

Hmm, I had a couple games picked out, but it looks like you need a Paypal account to actually buy anything. Ah well.

Darn it, no Bitcoin support there. Back to IndieGala and SteamBitShop for me.
