Today is Sunday, so that means generally there isn't much news (that isn't personally backlogged!), so today something different.

A question for you the community, what have you been playing recently and have you enjoyed it? Start recommending good games to your fellow Linux gamers

With all the games we have on Linux now my own personal library of games has grown to incredible levels. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Quoting: GoCorinthiansNope. Someone that ofends a game well liked by majority of gamers...doesnt even deserve arguments!

Care to chill there GoCorinthians? He has an opinion that is not yours. Deal with it.

At any rate, it really has been way too hot here to play any games, which is a problem given my backlog. I am currently playing through the full Amnesia series since I recently purchased AMFP, but so far have only gotten through the first Amnesia campaign again. I still have Justine to go through, and then I need to get to AMFP which still remains uninstalled despite the fact it is shown on my desktop wallpapers.

Other than that, I played through and finished LIMBO as soon as the native Linux version came out, and I have been on and off messing around with FTL: Faster Than Light. I should probably just get around to trying out some of the new expansion content given the fact that I now have basically given up on defeating the mothership; if anyone is going to do it then it will be my older brother who I got hooked on the game. I myself still kind of prefer Dungeons of Dredmor if I want to mess around in a rougelike though.

Then of course there are my usual standbys, matches of Quake III Arena in which I currently have over 17300 recorded frags, and the occasional game of Blood and Blood II through DOSBox or WINE respectively.

First of all, he did not offend the game, only said he did not like it, and he had an argument. The one I was trying to understand. I disagree with what he says, but can understand his point.
But if your problem was what Armand Raynal said about Mount and Blade Warband, why exactly did you quote me in the first place ?

Nothing on my PC unfortunately because I haven't been able to make Steam run on it since upgrading to Mint 17....
But I have been very well served with Mario Kart 8.

What I have played recently :

XCOM : Ennemy Unknow (very addictive but I recommend you to save regularly because there is no autosave feature and the game occasionally crash).
Civilisation V (same for XCOM, very addictive but be sure to save at least every 15 minutes).
Goat simulator (fun).
The Bridge (don't, it's boring as hell).
Krautscape (unfinished, not fun at the moment).
Kerbal Space Program (really complicated).

And the game I've played before that but I strongly recommend :

Eryi's Action (really fun but it's a hard game, not for casual gamers).
Dust: An Elysian Tail (fully voiced, really cute and entertaining game).
