Our Games Republic store currently has the soon to be released Stellaris at a cheaper price than Steam, and yes all keys are 100% legitimate. Games Republic is actually run/owned by 11 bit studios SA, the developers behind the Anomaly series and This War of Mine.

Note: We get a small cut from the keys.

Standard edition
Nova Edition
Galaxy Edition

So if you're a bit strapped for cash but want to get in on the grand space strategy game, there's a cheap place to get your order in folks.

I already bought it somewhere else, my only complain is that I'm not sure if we will get to download it before the release. I don't want to wait until it downloads on release day on my shitty connection

i believe that there is no pre-loading for Stellaris according to the forums at least.

Not pre-ordering it, nope. I'll buy it when it comes out.

Were the keys acquired directly from Paradox so that they get their fair share of the sale? I'm always a bit suspicious of key sellers, especially when they offer discounts that you can't find anywhere else.

Games Republic should be a legitimate reseller. However, I do recommend you wait until release for all the obvious reasons.

I asked them about it before, this was their answer:
Quoting: Games RepublicWe work directly with developers & online retailers like Nexway, which work directly with publishers too. We got that information on our About Us page: https://gamesrepublic.com/service/about-us.html

For the lazy, here's an excerpt from their about us page:
Quoting: Games RepublicWe work closely with more than 50 publishers, among them: Paradox Interactive, Devolver Digital, Nordic Games, Daedalic Entertainment
And:
Quoting: Games RepublicWe sell only legitimate and authorized keys received directly from the publishers

Well, that's good.

I noticed that in addition to the 15%, if you're a new member to the site, you can also get an additional 10% off for a total discount of 25%.

I feel reasonably confident that Paradox will deliver.

Damn, I ended up getting it on Humble Bundle store, since I am a monthly subscriber there, I got 10% off. 25% off would have been sweet. Looks like a great game, and Paradox has been releasing almost all of their stuff on Linux on day 1. Magicka 2 being the only exception I can think of.

Would be nice if they'd port some of their older library, but I guess after Hearts of Iron 4 comes out, probably not much point in playing 1-3? It's not like they're sequels, just updated engines for the same stuff. Really looking forward to that one... still have tons of Crusader Kings II and Europa Universalis IV to play.

How do you get this 10% discount ? I have an account but on my order page, it's still 33,99€ (instead of 39,99€), with Anomaly Warzone Earth for free as a bonus. With the code from an email they send after registration, i have error message :

Error - This discount code can't be used with one or more games in your cart
