While it may not arrive for Linux at release, the developer of the sweet looking RPG HEARTBEAT has confirmed their intention to do a Linux build.

Speaking on both itch.io and Steam, they seem rather positive about putting out a Linux version of their rather interesting adventure.

About the game:

Explore an all-too-familiar, yet unfamiliar, world alongside beings known as Mogwai.

HEARTBEAT is a top-down RPG where you traverse a land recovering from multiple strifes between humans and Mogwai. The unaware populace lives in a constant state of uncertainty and danger veiled by a tranquil facade. As a Conjurer, a human marked by Mogwai, it is your duty to maintain the peace and ensure balance between all who share the earth beneath your feet. Meet new friends and foes as you take on this strange and transcendent journey.

They say it was have around 20 hours of single-player story, with multiple endings and post-game content. A number of mini-game activities like fishing, card-collecting, side-quests, 100+ unique enemies to fight and so on.

This looks pretty polished. Loads of content, a good, consistent art style and what looks like a strong story? That's something I could get into.
