Humble Indie Bundle 19 is now live!

By - | Views: 13,911

Humble is back in style with the Humble Indie Bundle 19 and it has a pretty darn good selection of Linux games.

Note: We are going through the verification process to become a Humble partner to help with funding, Humble links will now be affiliate links.

The usual deal applies here, there's three different purchasing tiers. The first is pay what you want for:

  • Halcyon 6: Lightspeed Edition - Steam + DRM Free
  • Mini Metro - Steam + DRM Free
  • Rakuen - Steam + DRM Free

Next up, if you pay more than the average you get:

  • Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes - Steam + DRM Free
  • SOMA - Steam + DRM Free
  • Poly Bridge - Steam + DRM Free

And finally, for $14 (approx £9.84) you will get: SUPERHOT - Steam + DRM Free.

They will be adding more games in ~1 week as well, so hopefully they have some fun additions lined up for the bundle. Are you picking up a copy?

Ps. Humble Monthly has Deus Ex: Mankind Divided as an early unlock.

The "Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes" image has red exclamation marks over the Mac and Linux icons and it says "key not available". Anybody know what that means?

Well, funnily enough I already owned every game except the first tier ones. I can't complain.

That means we can donate money to GOL? Yeah! Can someone confirm this?

Probably that the Oculus version (you have to choose between steam key or oculus key) is windows only. But I still have to try it (didnt' bought it yet).

Am I the only one that wants Humble Store/Bundle to support cryptocurrencies?... I know most people have access to USD, PayPal and credit cards... But there's a few of us, who live in crappy, authoritarian, Banana Republic crountries that restrict access to those assets. Only cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Litecoin...) are really usable for us to purchase things outside. Videogames might be a "shallow" thing to desire, but that's why sales like these are even more attractive to us, these are the few occations we, nerds/geeks can afford to buy some games to distract us from those crappy moments in life for a few hours.

It would be really great for Steam to re-add BTC funding, btw. Hopefully they'll do it soon, since BTC fees are lower than ever. (and high fees was the reason they remove it a couple months ago).

(something tells me this might be a "controversial" comment, hopefully people will understand that developing countries are in very different situations and people really struggle to be able to buy stuff that in other countries are a few clicks away).

Yes, Humble use a rather interesting affiliate/partner system where you select how much goes to us. They likely still take some form of a cut somewhere though.

Every little helps, hopefully, once my ID check goes through :)

The game will not appear into your Humble library until you go to the Humble Order page following the link arrived via e-mail, then selecting that you want the "Steam key".

Yeah this exactly. It's a bit confusing, but there is a Steam key, the red mark is due to you also being able to get a key for Oculus.

Linux games that I don't have (except SOMA) and easy way to support GamingOnLinux? This bundle might be too good to pass...

It's the Oculus version, which is Windows only. After you've bought the bundle, check your purchase page. You'll have the option to select either the Steam version (Windows + Mac + Linux) or the Oculus one. Not both, so choose the Steam one for Linux, obviously. After this, the key will appear in your library/account on the Keys page.
