As always, there's sales going on. We're here to keep track of them all each week and highlight anything of interest for Linux fans.

Currently, Humble Store has a selection of interesting stuff.

Techland are having their own publisher week, so you can grab Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition with 67% off or if you already own the main game, The Following DLC is 66% off. Still to this day, it remains one of my favourite games.

There's also:

Not just games, they have also have other stuff of interest too like these:

Then we also have GOG, who also have some sweet stuff for grabs. Be quick though, some of the GOG deals are only up for another few hours!

While not a Linux game, Theme Hospital is 75% off and it can be used with CorsixTH the open source game engine for it.

For GOG games not ending soon, they have some other classics on sale like:

Jazz Jackrabbit CollectionBlood: One Unit Whole BloodCannon FodderCannon Fodder 2 and more.

For all GOG games available on Linux and on sale, see here.

As always there's plenty more, but those are some good picks to get you going. Perhaps you need something new or you're just beginning your Linux game collection, they should all be pretty safe bets.

I recommend dosbox for theme hospital. As it's a dos game, it's not native on windows or mac either, so it's on equal footing, just less automated as there is no installer for linux so you have to make the shortcuts yourself. I don't remember if I modified the dosbox config that comes with the gog windows installer or not, but it is not hard to tweak it. Your favourite distro most likely has dosbox in the repositories.

For the low price of *free*, adventure gamers should check out this nicely done fan-made sequel:
https://catmic.itch.io/return-of-the-tentacle

It's "only" the prologue, but it's 2-4 hours of fun if you aren't rushing through.

I had no idea that Cannon Fodder and its follow up had launched on Linux. Those were awesome games back in the day. I might buy Cannon Fodder just for the theme tune alone!

EDIT: Yikes, it's £1.78 for both! Okay then. Gimme some of that retro gaming action!

Unfortunately Cannon Fodder on GOG it is DOS edition - especially sound is terrible.

Probably Amiga emulation it is legal nightmare, so they decided for MS-DOS edition. Anyway they should warn gamers in description that this edition has terrible sound comparing with Amiga original version... At least they could add extra Amiga version disk files without emulator - I think it should be OK from legal perspective...

Thanks for the heads up! Refunding immedi... only joking! I think I played these on the ST, rather than my latter short stint with an Amiga, but for the price of a bottle of coke, I think I'll just give it a try regardless.

Spotted these very high discount deals (all run on Linux, and the Humble one has Steam key and DRM-free Download too):

Vertiginous Golf (90% off on Fanatical)

Electronic Super Joy (93% off on Humble)

The Perils of Man (90% off on GMG)

Bought the last two, myself.
