Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition will officially arrive on the 30th of October, and this will be a same-day Linux release too.

Oh we also announced a launch date for #IWDEE of Oct 30. That's right, just 10 more days to go. #10DaysofAlveus

As promised by Samsai, Liam is still doing the digging behind the scenes, as this news comes thanks to a reply to his tweet:

@upurtweet We plan to launch #linux #IWDEE at the same time.

About
In the northernmost reaches of the Forgotten Realms lies the region of icy tundra known as Icewind Dale. Journey deep into the Spine of the World mountains, a harsh and unforgiving territory settled by only the hardiest folk. Beneath the carven glaciers and mountainsides, you must confront an evil that schemes to wreak destruction upon the face of Faerûn. This is the world of Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition.

Originally released in 2000, Icewind Dale is a Dungeons & Dragons game set in Wizards of The Coast's legendary Forgotten Realms. This Enhanced Edition allows players to experience the epic adventure on PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone, and Android tablets and phones, and includes a host of new features. I had it on Mac OS X back when it was released.
I actually thought it was pretty good, even if it was different from BG because of the team management and character creation.

I hope BG2:EE also comes to Linux soon, because I'm almost done with BG:EE (~80h played, a few more to go).

Hmm, it looks like they do direct distribution - but only for Win/Mac
Linux is only mentioned with Steam
