The folks over at Infinite Monkeys Entertainment will be releasing their comically morbid puzzler Life Goes On on April 16th!

In the game, you play a Knight, or rather a series of Knights, whose mission it is to retrieve the Holy Grail. You must overcome many different obstacles such as flame spouts, locked doors, and spikes.

What makes this game interesting/fun is that you must purposefully send one or more of your Knights to their death in order to overcome the obstacles. For example, a spike pit can be traversed by a Knight only after an earlier Knight has impaled himself on the spikes, creating a safe walkway across.

According to the announcement e-mail, there will be over 50 levels in the final game with speed run times and 'death minimums' to try to beat.

They are taking pre-orders for the game now at the link above and have stated they will provide both a DRM free download and a Steam key upon release.

There's also a demo with a handful of levels at their site which I recommend trying out. If the final is as good as the demo levels, this will be well worth the money.

Customers who pre-order Life Goes On will immediately receive a 25-percent discount off the normal price and a Steam code. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.
