Lifeless Planet Premier Edition [Steam, Humble Store] has officially released for Linux and it looks to be well worth a purchase.

This newer additions has some improved graphics and new audio tracks, the previous version was not available for Linux.

I just picked up a copy to support the new port from the developer and I'm pleased to say it runs like a dream on the max graphical setting for me. No issues with it so far at all. Here's a little sneak peak of what it's like:

I'm quite impressed. It's quite a simple game, but the setting really has my interest and I cannot wait to find out what the heck is going on.

The setting is very mysterious and has very much captured my space-nerd interest as I'm sure it will capture yours too.

One to check out for sure.

Excellent! Been waiting for news of this since a positive note from the developer back in March last year. Great stuff - will purchase this weekend and give it a whirl.

My first thought on starting the video: "Is that the astronaut from Astroneer?" :P

Otherwise, the setting is intriguing and it looks rather nice.

It's received less than favourable reviews though. Unfortunately.

The premise is a classic and has me hooked. If it were a novel, I'd read it. If it were a movie, I'd watch it. As it stands, looks like I'm gonna play it!
