Linux Now Has Over 1000 Titles On Steam

That's a bloody huge milestone. We all know quality over quantity, but with 1000+ games now on Steam for Linux, there has to be something for everyone!

The current count for me is at 1002, I imagine it may be a few lower in specific regions due to region blocking, but with more releases planned it's only going to keep growing.

I still remember the days of being in absolute denial that Steam would come to Linux, and now we have masses of games, some little and some big. We have Steam Machines with the Linux based SteamOS coming our way, and tons more big games to come.

Here's a pointless screenshot for you:

I believe I have around 60 Linux titles in total spanning various digital distributions. I tend to stick to GOG, Indie Game Stand, Humble Store, Gamers Gate. I do have a lot in Steam from back when I used it.

Right now I have 928 games on steam & 340 of them support Linux, that comes out at 36% of my games, I blame Humble Bundle for the amount of games I have, it's all their fault. ;)

Quoting: SkiskiAnd by the way, where is the Bioshock infinite port, that was supposed to be released earlier this year ?
The current rumour doing the rounds on steam is it's been cancelled, I hope that's wrong though as it would give me one less reason for having Windows. I'm back to dual booting again due to Lightroom being unusable in Wine.

The last change to the "linux_inhouse_testing" depot for Bioshock Infinite was 5 days ago.

Looks like Age of Wonders 3 is coming to Linux in April.

I've got 150 total and from these around 125 are running on Linux. I haven't used Steam before it came to Linux. Those ~25 Windows games are from some bundles or because I played them back in the days and wanted to own them. Some of them should support Linux too (somewhere in the future).

Can't wait to see the first "nextgen" engine releases. Let's see how the improvement on Linux support. will help us in that matter
