Hyper Ultra Astronautics [Official Site] from FRACTiLE Games is a local multiplayer space shooter for 1-16 players and it's now in Beta.

If you love classic arcade-style space shooters, this is probably a good one for you to take a look at. The survival mode can be played in single-player too, which is nice to give it a test run. It's currently free as well!

Current features:

Deathmatch, team deathmatch and survival co-op game modes.
Keyboard, gamepad, mouse controllers.
Mobile controller application for Android.
Default weapon + 11 collectible items (weapons and power-ups).
Survival co-op high scores (both local and online).
