Low on cash? Here's a look at some Linux games currently on sale

It's near the end of the month, money is low, so here's a look at some great Linux gaming deals going on right now.

As always, these are hand-picked deals by me, no auto-generation rubbish going on. I've usually tested all of the games mentioned, if I haven't, I just think you might like the sale.

  • PAYDAY 2 - Try free for 4 days on Steam - 79% off the whole bundle
  • The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition - GOG - 85% off
  • Chivalry: Medieval Warfare - Steam - 80% off
  • Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - Try free for another day - Steam - 75% off
  • Monstrum - Steam - 75% off
  • Zombie Night Terror - Steam - 70%
  • Total War: WARHAMMER - Steam - 50% off

We also have the Humble Day of the Devs Bundle 2017, which has: Grim Fandango Remastered, Flinthook, Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Full Throttle Remastered and Everything which all support Linux. Not a bad bundle at all!

There's also the Humble Down Under Bundle, which has: The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, Screencheat, Hand of Fate, Satellite Reign, Hacknet, Hacknet Labyrinths, Crawl, Hurtworld (no Linux icon, but it is downloadable on Steam) and Armello. To be honest, that's an amazing deal with some really great titles.

Also, if you're super quick, Bundle Stars has Another World – 20th Anniversary Edition with 92% off, ends in ~2 hours.

There's plenty more on sale, so here's some quick links for you to see all games on sale: Steam, Humble Store, GOG, itch.io and Bundle Stars.

Likewise, I have about 15 more games added to my GOG account, thanks to the recent GOG Connect activity.

I'm feeling a little sorry for GOG... With the current Steam Halloween, Humble, and GOG Halloween sales running right now...

I've bought about £4 on Humble ( "Steam" ), and about £24 on Steam, and £0 on GOG so far.

In case you're interested... (and seeing as I am quite the bargain hunter)... Here are the things I picked up...

Humble - Dying Light: The Bozak Horde DLC, Amnesia: Machine for Pigs (90% off)

Steam - Best of Klei bundle (got all the Don't Starve games/dlc AND the dlc for Invisible Inc, but missing out Invisible Inc which I already own), This War Of Mine: The Little Ones DLC, Age of Wonders III bundle - all the DLC at 75% off (but I already owned the game, so that wasn't included in the payment), Overlord: Raising Hell, Jets'n'Guns Gold, Orbt XL.

One thing that I'm pretty happy about and didn't know before.... When Steam has bundle promotions - Buy all these games and get an extra 20% off (for example) - If you already own most of those games, and want to finish off the missing items - You buy the bundle and you just get the missing items (that you don't already own) and you gain the full benefit of the bundle discount.

I have seen this recently on Steam... However I think it is new, IIRC they rarely did this in the past you used to need to decide to re-purchase some content or forgo the bundle.

What did they do with the games you already had? Put them as gifts into your inventory?
Then maybe they changed it when they disabled the possibility of putting gift games into the inventory.
