OBS Studio is a fantastic bit of open source software for livestreamers, but the Linux version has been plagued with crashing often when capturing a window—no more!

On top of a multitude of general improvements, the Linux specific stuff is below:
Quote0.15.0 Linux-Specific Changes:

Fixed the long-standing crashes with linux window capture
Fixed a bug were window capture would not display window titles with the right text encoding

A major improvement for people using OBS Studio to record videos is that the video will no longer be cut-off at the end (something I found and it was annoying as hell).

Sorry for kind of unrelated question but version 15.0 on my machine doesn't show "Game" in list of possible sources - do I have to install some library or plug-in? I used "Window" and it worked with XCOM: Enemy Unknown but didn't with e.g. Limbo...

Do you mean when selecting a source for the Window capture the game isn't listed?

Works fine for me:

In the Windows version, there is a capture option labelled "Game". It is basically a preset mode for capturing gaming. It's not in the Linux version for some reason.

Does this release finally fix the issue where the desktop locks up if you're using it with the open source AMD driver? 'Cause it's been well over a year since that bug was introduced and the only time someone mentioned it on the forums their response was basically "not our fault".

That "Game" label is for DirectX applications.
