Victor Vran is about to get bigger, as a new expansion is coming named "Motörhead Through The Ages". I've never listened to Motörhead before, but an expansion to Victor Vran is awesome news anyway.

London, Los Angeles, Sofia - August 2015
Motörhead are celebrating their 40th anniversary and a new album is on the way – the perfect time for Rock & Metal fans and gamers alike to experience a video game based on the iconic band and their unique attitude.
The collaboration between Motörhead, Global Merchandising and Haemimont Games will merge the world of Rock and Games in ways never seen before:
Based on the highly acclaimed "Victor Vran" Action-RPG that is already available on STEAM, this official and exclusive Motörhead expansion will feature an entirely new storyline, new enemies, weapons and skills! The expansion, titled "Motörhead through the Ages", will be entirely Motörhead themed and the established “Victor Vran” universe will be extended with new adventures to experience and bosses to fight.
The Motörhead game will consist of new game environments that have not been seen in the original game. Traverse war-torn landscapes and cities, Wild-West-inspired landscapes and the Dark Ages Castle where the Queen of the Damned resides, all heavily inspired by and based on Motörhead`s history, lyrics and general attitude.
Motörhead define the themes of the game as Victor faces evils relevant to our own world – religious fanatics, corrupt politicians and power-hungry oppressive rulers. During these quests he will be supported not only by the newly designed Motör-Weapons, -Powers and -Skills, but also a soundtrack with over a dozen tracks, partly never heard before!
Check out Victor Vran on Steam if you haven't already.

You're dead to me, Liam. :P
In all seriousness, this should be most excellent, I look forward to it.

Motorhead are the originators of Thrash Metal, Loud, Fast & Heavy. Not sure how that equates to a medieval setting like in this game, but who cares? it's MOTORHEAD!!!!!!!

saw them about 1.5 months ago on Graspop Metal Meeting, they're legends :p
but yeah, i'm curious how good (or how bad) the game's expansion will be.

I guess this is quite plausible if you don't live in the western world, but otherwise I have a hard time believing you've managed to avoid their "Ace of Spades". It's been all over radio, tv show soundtracks and ads, games and movies for literally decades. Hell, one of the most awesome 2D brawlers of the early nineties (on the Amiga at least) was all about Motörhead and starred good old Lemmy smashing baddies with a guitar. But I guess it's entirely possible you've heard their songs but never heard of the band, especially if you're younger.

Whenever I think of this band, I think of the Red Dwarf episode where Rimmer is slagging Lister's musical taste and says "Why don't you listen to the classics, like the three M's: Mozart, Mendelssohn, and Motörhead?"

An expansion already? I'll probably buy it because I think the base game is pretty awesome, and it runs flawlessly in Linux, but I'm a bit surprised to see an expansion announced not even a month after release.

Ahhhh don't call this just an RPG ! You wouldn't call Braid just a platformer. Braid is a puzzle platformer and the puzzle part is proeminent. Victor Vran is an action game first with some RPG elements, but it's definitely not an RPG, it's 85% mindless action, 10% skills and inventory management and 5% monologues.
