Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna) is a beautiful looking atmospheric puzzle platformer about finding the source of a never-ending blizzard. Looks like it will come to Linux now too!

This is what caught my interest:
QuoteIt's is the first game developed in collaboration with the Iñupiat, an Alaska Native people. Nearly 40 Alaska Native elders, storytellers and community members contributed to the development of the game.

Might have to check it out!

It recently popped up on SteamDB with Linux added to the list of platforms, and a "tux_dev" branch.

Remember: Never buy a game until the Linux port exists.

About the game (Official)
Experience the epic journey of Nuna and Fox as they search for the source of an eternal blizzard that threatens the survival of everything they have ever known.

Never Alone is an atmospheric puzzle platformer developed in collaboration with the Iñupiat, an Alaska Native people, drawn from a traditional story that has been shared across the generations.

Guide both characters in single-player mode or play cooperatively with a friend as you trek through frozen tundra, leap across treacherous ice floes, swim through underwater caverns and face enemies both strange and familiar. (NOTE: Local co-op play requires at least one Xbox 360 or equivalent game controller). Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Oh, sweet. I hope that the game will also be released on other web stores. I'll definitely keep an eye on this.

I really like the artwork.

I emailed them about Linux over a year ago, and this is [partially] what they said (emphasis mine):

QuoteWe haven't decided the order nor made final decisions, but we are hopeful that at least Vita and Linux will be in our roadmap.

I really appreciate you letting us know your interest and platform preference...we are a small company trying to figure out where to put our resources, so it is helpful to get feedback like this.

So there you have it - devs like to hear from us. I'll definitely be buying this when it comes out!
