Oil Rush 0.98, stable release this month!

In other gaming news the Tower Defence/RTS hybrid game Oil Rush has just had one last release before the big 1.0!

* Even more fixed balance issues in the single-player campaign.
* Removed "Effects" settings (now they are controlled from "Graphics" options).
* Updated Russian localization.
* Added additional splash screens showing partners: NVIDIA, RakNet.
* Reduced performance spikes on loading resources.
* Added full English voice-over for all characters.
* Updated a 3D scene on the main menu screen.
* Updated "Loading..." splash screen.
* Added a FPS counter into Options/Game (disabled by default).
* Added unit repair SFX.
* Removed text warnings shown on actions.
* Fixed several Steam-related bugs.
* Fixed Technology tree issues for AI.
* Updated Victory/Defeat windows.

* Standalone build uses release binaries now.
* Redesigned character dialog window.
* Added "Mission info" window ("i" button on the minimap).
* Repair vessels ignore enemy Repair vessels on the march.
* More readable font for text descriptions.
* Added a partial English voice-over.
* Restored gamma control in Linux.
* Added an animated game logo.
* Fixed "Advanced Tower Construction" skill.
* Added a fast-forward mode for cut-scenes ("Space" hotkey by default).
* Fixed GUI layout issues.
* Backspace is used to reset key bindings.
* Teammates see a zone affected by the Radar skill now.
* Added unique 3D backgrounds for all 4 chapters of the single player campaign
* Added partial Russian localization.
* Completely new system for cut-scenes (some of them are not working now).
* Heap of minor bug fixes and usability improvements.

i pre-ordered but have played like 30 min or so only.
its just not my cup of coffee. but then again it might be good game for LAN parties.
so its not entirely wasted money. + they support linux so i have to support back :)
