If you like your weird games with no speech, check out One Eyed Kutkh [Steam, Official Site] which has been released for free on Steam. It's based on the fairy tales of the Far North, apparently.

I've played it for a bit and it's just downright bizarre. Works well enough though, but I didn't really "get it". There's no speech, it's a simple point & click game and I just have no idea what the pull is on this one. If you're going to give it a go, you must have some real patience as I just couldn't continue with it. Too slow and frustrating for me.

Visually, it's very distinct and I adore the visuals, just the gameplay, or lack of it, was really annoying. A point & click for a young audience probably, but no excitement for me at all.

Game features
  • The unique graphic style
  • A mix of fiction and fairy tales of the Far North
  • Explore the World Tree
  • Two playable characters
  • The game tells its story through the action
  • Interesting and simple puzzles for everyone: from child to elder

I wonder if Samsai can decipher it ...
I like the style and am impressed they released it for free. I don't mind when games try something different so I will give it a try.
