A very odd titled email I received the other day to announce a new platform game!
Team Pontification is pleased to announce a new game called Pontification. It is a 2D platformer that will be available on Windows, OSX and Linux.
Pontification follows the story of Father O’Brien a recently deceased priest who wakes up in an afterlife that he wasn’t expecting and is not happy about. After meeting Lily a 206 year old spirit who is not exactly happy with her afterlife they infiltrate the Catholic Church headquarters, The Vatican, to find out what else the Church has lied to them about.
With Lily as his “guiding light” it’s a race to find and possess the Pope and reveal the truth about the Catholic Church to the public at the annual address in St.Peter’s Square for Easter Sunday, an event which will be televised all around the world.
During the course of Pontification you will make your way through the spirit world and the Vatican to accomplish your goal. To make it you will need to possess those that stand in your way to solve puzzles and get through restricted areas.
