Prison Architect is undeniably one of the most unique games we have on Linux, not many other games have ever come out that see you manage a prison of all things.

The latest alpha is now out and as usual with full Linux support, major changes highlighted below.

-Prisoners can now take drugs that get smuggled in including heroin, cocain and alchole. So, you had better be on your guard.
-New reform programs to help with drug addiction.
-Language selector to make things easier for people.
-Prisoners can now surrender when the odds are against them, that's really quite awesome.
And more see the full post.

The best news comes in the form of the next alpha release which will have zero new features. The are doing an entire alpha run on bug fixes to really polish up the experience, during this time you can expect to see more frequent releases as they get the bug fixes out to you. I really love that approach.

You can grab it from them directly which gives you DRM free access plus a Steam key. Do remember though, as it is an alpha there will be plenty of bugs.

What do you guys think to the game? Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

One of the best games on Linux in my opinion. But then I am a huge fan of simulation games. Haven´t tried the new alpha yet, but alpha 20 was quite polished in my opinion, but sometimes it´s hard to know what´s a bug and what´s not.
