A new game jam is about to start named "Procedural Death Jam" (my favourite Jam name ever!) that is aimed at giving OpenGameArt some needed exposure, and to get the term Procedural Death Labyrinth some exposure too.

The Jam
The game jam starts on the 8th of March at 00:00 GMT. They are hoping it will raise awareness for OpenGameArt's patreon campaign which aims to give the developer of the website some funding to expand it and improve it.

OpenGameArt is a great place to find art to use in games, especially open source games and I hope people find it useful.

They are just over 50% funded, I seriously hope they hit 100%, a very good cause. OpenGameArt are the ones hosting the Jam's website, forums etc.

WTF is Procedural Death Labyrinth?
Procedural Death Labyrinth (PDL) is a new term used to describe games like Spelunky, The Binding of Isaac, FTL, Rogue Legacy, etc.

I hope this ends the whole "hey this isn't a rogue-like-lite-life-whatever argument.

This one is really important for open culture. I, also, hope they hit the full goal at least.
