Fight off waves of demons in Project RIP from developer Storming Tech, a new Unreal Engine first-person shooter that has Linux support. This is the same developer who also made Escape Legacy: Ancient Scrolls, an escape room puzzle game which also seemed quite good.

Graphically quite impressive, the action is tense and it has a nice upgrade path for your character. Lots of weapons to unlock both ranged and melee to get up close and personal, perks to unlock and more. A game that starts off slow and as you progress, it starts to open up a bit. If you just want to run around and shoot demons in the face, it seems like quite a good choice and it's priced reasonably too.

Sadly though, it's a little unstable for me. I've not even been able to finish the first mission, as it keeps crashing on me. Once it's all fixed up, I will be giving it a more thorough look as I did like what I managed to glimpse. The developer has quite a lot planned to add in which you can see here.

You can find it on Steam.

14Looks too disgusting for me, but the graphics, lighting, and animation are the stuff we need on Linux shooters. Pretty much all of our shooter graphics are mediocre or poor.

Yeah, not my type of games either. Anyway at least it works with Vulkan and graphics look quite good.

Edit: I didn't had to add -vulkan, it worked out of the box on Vulkan.

Well its like doom more than killing floor but I think the dev(s) have been heavily influenced by both. Certainly not a bad way

Same as others though plays for 5 or so mins then CTD , shame as I was near the end of the final wave

Sort the crashing out and get the fps a bit smoother and it'll be great.

Hope they think of adding 2/4 player co-op at a later date.

Why do you say that?
Speaking about graphic, Metro redux 1, metro redux 2, borderlands 2, Team Fortress 2,
bioshock infinite, deus ex(shooter?), tannenberg, serious sam 3: BFE, seem pretty well done to me.
Perhaps I exaggerated, but it still feels like a hole without games like the Battlefiend and CoD series and Wolfenstein and Tom Clancy games.

On your example list, my opinion is Borderlands and TF2 and Serious Sam are in the mediocre category as far as graphics.

Comandante ÑoñardoInteresting indeed!
Native Linux.... Spanish support... and only 2.62U$D..
I will buy it.

How come it's that price ? Says £9.89 to me
Regional pricing.

Ah, rip off Britain again, I'll blame Brexit, seems to be the thing to do.
Could be worse - it's AU$20 for me.

Oh man, it seems to have some weirdly low field of view.
