Railway Empire updated with random map support and more

By - | Views: 5,679

Gaming Minds Studios have put out another rather good update for Railway Empire, with some highly requested features.

Tired of the same old map? Good news, the game now has random map support! In addition, they've added some extra difficulty options to the Free Game mode so you can choose if you want easier or harder tasks.

You can also now build steel and stone bridges, they've done some AI route optimization tweaks, added more details to the train list, added a town list and more minor additions.

They also fixed a Linux-specific bug where the rendering of contour lines and tunnels was a bit messed up, so it's nice to see the Linux version see some attention too.

This won't be the last update to the game, as they're also still planning to bring in some enhanced AI which I'm quite excited about. The game is good and quite relaxing to play, but a better AI will be a very welcome addition.

This looked decent when Samsai played it on stream.
Thing is , it's kind of priced a bit high for what I feel it offers.
Don't want to be ungrateful and expect every game to be 5-10$ , but 50 is a bit much.
