ROCKETSROCKETSROCKETS Enters Steam's Early Access For Linux

By - | Views: 6,730
ROCKETSROCKETSROCKETS is a game where you fly ROCKETS that shoot ROCKETS at other ROCKETS! The ultimate in arcade action arena combat, with the fluidity and amazing feel of soaring through space. Sounds crazy right?

They recommend a game-pad with it, sadly my game-pad even when properly configured doesn't seem to be picked up by the game at all. That's what you get with Early Access games. Luckily the developers seem to be aware of this issue too, but they are at Valve's offices today which means no fixes for a day or two!

I tried it with a keyboard and it's pretty frantic! The movement feels like it really is meant for a game-pad.

Here you can see me doing terribly:

It's really tricky since there is zero aiming in the game, there is also currently only one mode which is to battle it out with the AI with your choice of colours.

For some reason their store states features the game currently has that are nowhere to be seen, the menu only allowed me one option which was a "Local Dogfight" with no option of having their "TEAM PLAY" mode. Not sure what's going on there.

You can check it out on Steam. Although I can't say I would recommend it right now. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.
